This blog, mostly photographs with little text, is a record of another year in the life of our garden. For the derivation of the title 'Insnared with Flowers' (original spelling) click here.

Woodland Garden

Elegant shoot tips of greater stitchwort in the woodland garden....

... where its white flowers are just beginning to open.....
... underneath the rapidly elongating Solomon's seal shoots

  1. I like the pollen on the white petals.

    I don;t think I've ever seen Solomon's Seal.

  2. I most definitely have fallen in love with your photos AND with your gardening philosophy. I'm afraid we spend far too much time laboring and not enough time exploring. You've inspired me.

  3. They're very delicate little flowers, Toffeeapple, and do well in semi-shade

  4. If I was planning a new garden from scratch Carolyn, the first thing I'd do would be to plan the places where I would sit!
