Welcome

This blog, mostly photographs with little text, is a record of another year in the life of our garden. For the derivation of the title 'Insnared with Flowers' (original spelling) click here.

Leaves

Brunnera macrophylla, whose flowers (here) are now over.

The unique maidenhair tree Ginkgo biloba, a living fossil planted near the pond. Far too big for this garden but by the time it becomes a problem it will be someone else's problem.... so far its only six feet tall.

Ostrich plume fern Matteuccia struthiopteris - almost a perfect shuttlecock.
