This blog, mostly photographs with little text, is a record of another year in the life of our garden. For the derivation of the title 'Insnared with Flowers' (original spelling) click here.

Going to Seed

The longest day is only a few days away and already the spring flowers are going to seed. Fritillaria meleagris seed capsule and ...
Meconopsis cambrica seed capsule, brim-full of seed.
Meanwhile, the first wild strawberries are ripening. We've managed to collect about half a cup of these - laborious but the aroma is wonderful.....

  1. I am wondering just how soon autumn will be upon us and if winter will start early like last year.

  2. Hi Phil,
Your photos are just beautiful -- like the flowers are coming out of the frame. I've enjoyed looking through them. - Cindy

  3. Seems like we've entered a really mild, wet spell at the moment - everything is growing really fast.

  4. Thanks for visiting and for your kind comments Cindy
