Arrivals and Departures

 The apple trees are in full bloom and .......
 .... so is the Fothergilla, but ....
 .... the Erythronium blooms are fading fast ....
..... and the dandelions are running to seed.

    I'm amazed at how quickly everything has 'gone over' but I guess that the extreme weather is to blame. The only fresh bloom here is Hawthorn.

    Hawthorn is just coming out here - but spring is passing far too quickly for my liking...!
