Tulips don't come much brighter than this. The blue background is my wife's car, which could do with a trip through the car wash.
The inside of the flower is even more striking - 100% primary colours.
This one's a little more subtle - can't remember what it's called though, lost the label.

The wild strawberries flower in the garden before their cultivated cousins - and have a more intense flavour
These tiny flies - Sepsis punctum - sit on plants all day and wave their wings up and down.....
...... and breed in the compost heap
The blackbirds, nesting in a dead ash tree covered in ivy, already have nestlings and are constantly shuttling back and forth with food. I noticed yesterday evening that they can sing when they have a beak full of caterpillars.
