More buds

A paeony, showing the first hint of the flower on the way..
An iris, with intricate petal markings...

This is spaghetti squash. I was given a plant and have never grown one before, so I'm intrigued to see what the ripe fruit will look like when I cut it open...

Lupin flower spike in bud ... can't wait for this to open, so I can smell the peppery aroma of the flowers

  1. I do hope that you'll show the Paeony in full bloom later. I can't grow them, or Lupins, sadly, but I can grow Irises by the dozen, yours is beautifully veined. Mine mostly have a perfume which I love. Spaghetti Squash is the only variety that I find anything like flavoursome.

  2. The paeony has four big buds, Toffeeapple, so it should be a good show. I'm looking forward to trying that squash.
